U.S.D.D.A., Inc. is comprised of dentists who share the common interest of Scuba Diving. We meet various times annually in Caribbean and Pacific locations combining morning diving with afternoon seminars in continuing dental education. The seminars are given by the participants of our meetings.
Locations for our meetings are chosen with various objectives in mind. Great diving, the availability of the resort and meeting rooms for refresher and full certification courses, activities for non-divers, and ease of air accessibility are all factors.
Many members bring non-diving friends along who also receive our group-discounted rates. Each meeting features non-diving activities such as snorkeling, sailboat cruises, moped rentals, water skiing, fishing, shopping, etc.
Our event October 11th to the 18th will be held at the stunning Harbour Village Beach Club Bonaire.
Scuba some of the best dives on earth and earn twenty hours of Dentistry CEU credits – brush up on new procedures, scuba dive, and enjoy a holiday with other dentists who love to scuba.
Bonaire is a small island in the southern Dutch Caribbean, located 50 miles north of Venezuela, 30 miles east of Curacao and 86 miles east of Aruba. It is the second largest of the “A-B-C” islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao), yet the least populated.
Bonaire offers excellent scuba diving, snorkeling and windsurfing, and has been designated as having the most pristine coral reef environment and most species of fish in the Caribbean by the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration.
Due to its positioning, this idyllic island is outside of the hurricane belt and consequently enjoys beautiful weather throughout the year. With average air temperatures of 82°F, and water temperatures averaging 80°F, there is little rainfall and easterly trade winds provide mild breezes to keep conditions ideal for vacationing year round.
