Perio Surgery for the Modern Dental Practice Workshop Dates

Sep 18-19, 2015

How can you make sure that you are fully prepared to take on the modern dental practice? Get the strategic advantage of Perio Surgery Training! This exciting new class is designed to teach and promote awareness of periodontal disease as seen in the dental office every day. Perio Institute has been teaching mild to moderate perio surgical skills to the general practicing dentist for over twenty years. Perio Surgery Training will take you even further—it offers a refreshing new approach to traditional treatment options on the first day and adds the value of a more modern methodology on the second day.

General practitioners are enthusiastic about learning, diagnosing, and treating their patients with mild to moderate periodontal disease. Attending this class will give you the knowledge and skills to recognize and address periodontal problems, and to offer your patients a predictable and informed solution.

Led by an experienced periodontist, this training demystifies periodontal disease. It also enables the general practitioner to identify the issue and to make educated decisions about whether to treat certain patients or refer them to a specialist. Expect plenty of hands-on activity, including practicing procedures on pig jaws and anatomical models. Workshop participants will gain confidence and a better understanding of the skill set necessary to achieve a reliable outcome. During the two-day workshop you will be instructed on all of the following: instruments, periodontal plastic surgery, oral medicines, soft and hard tissue augmentation, root planning, antibiotics, and laser therapy.

Upon completion of this intensive Perio Surgery Training, you will have new insight into this innovative therapy and the requisite skills to begin integrating it into your practice.
