Hands On Extraction Course in Guatemala January 20-27, 2018

Work on Live Patients in this week long course.  Receive 10 hours of didactic instruction during two days of lecture in which we discuss how to remove all types of teeth and we discuss how to handle practically ever complication imaginable.  You will then set up a clinic in a poor area of Guatemala, usually in a church, fire department, or city hall building and receive 44 hours of hands on extraction experience under the direct supervision of instructions.  You can do many extractions of all types including impacted wisdom teeth.  All instruments will be provided as well as digital x-rays, autoclaves, hand pieces, and suctions.

The course is accepted by the Academy of General Dentistry for PACE credit towards FAGD and MAGD fellowships.

Dr. Tommy Murph and Dr. Gayle Fletcher are the primary instructors.

Many students come early and/or stay after the course to take a tour of an active volcano, to visit Antigua, or to do some surfing.
