Dental Assisting in the Implant Practice

This one day course is targeted for the dental assistant working in a surgical or prosthetic dental implant practice.  The course will review treatment planning, terminology, materials and components, sterile techniques, instrumentation, Teeth in A Day, surgical and prosthetic protocol, i-CAT Cone Beam CT scan technology, post operative care and long-term prosthetic maintenance.

Educational Goal:

To provide advanced implant placement and restorative training procedures, including computer planning software for dental assistants.  All phases related to conventional Teeth in A Day and computer guided surgery procedures will be discussed.
