Anatomy of the Masticatory System: Clinical Application and Dissection – ADA 2014

This course includes a detailed dissection of superficial structures of the face, masticatory musculature and temporomandibular joint. Important relationships, from routine dental assessment to clinical procedures, will be highlighted. Participants are recommended to bring magnification loupes.

After this course, you will be able to:

-Dissect the oral cavity and focus on key relationships in the floor of the mouth

-Assess the face and superficial structures to include facial expression muscles

-Perform anatomical dissection of the temporomandibular joint
