All on 4: Complete Arch Oral Rehabilitation and Immediate Fuction Using Tilted Implants

Oct 6, 2014

The All on 4 treatment concept for complete arch rehabilitation is an economic yet attractive prosthetic solution utilizing the immediate loading concepts.  Using tilted implants in the posterior region, the rehabilitation anchors all implants in anterior bone, while increasing the anterior/posterior spread of the implants and reducing posterior cantilevers.  An all-acrylic provisional prosthesis can be delivered immediately after implant placement, following either the guidelines of the Teen in a Day or computer guided protocol.

Educational Goal:

To familiarize participants with the surgical, prosthetic and post treatment phases of dental implants using the All-on-4 technique.

Educational Objectives:

1).  To demonstrate treatment planning and pre-surgical procedures for the All-on-4 protocol.

2).  To provide clinical instruction via live procedures and hands-on instruction via model surgery for the All-on-4 protocol.

3).  To provide clinical patient management before, during and after implant placement.

4).  To identify the prosthetic options for the patient rehabilitated with the All-on-4 treatment concept.
