Robert E. Lamb, DDS, MSD

Dr. Robert E. Lamb received his D.D.S. in 1967 from the University of California in San Francisco and his M.S.D. and certificate in Periodontics in 1972 from the University of Washington. His honors include O.K.U. Honorary Dental Fraternity, Orban Award from the American Academy of Periodontology, Saul Schluger Endowed Visiting Professorship at the University of Washington, membership in the Studiengruppe für Restaurative Zahnheilkunde, honorary membership in the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ästhetische Zahnheilkunde, and honorary memberships in the Indian Academy of Osseointegration and the International Academy of Advanced Interdisciplinary Dentistry. He has taught in the Department of Periodontics at the University of the Pacific since 1972 and is a Visiting Professor in Graduate Periodontics at the University of Washington.

Dr. Lamb is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, the California Society of Periodontics, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the San Mateo County Dental Society, the Studiengruppe für Restaurative Zahnheilkunde, the Deutschen Gesellschaft für Parodontologie, the European Federation of Periodontology, the International Academy of Periodontology, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ästhetische Zahnheilkunde, the European Association for Osseointegration, the European Dental Association, the Indian Academy of Osseointegration, and the International Academy of Advanced Interdisciplinary Dentistry.

Dr. Lamb has published in periodontal textbooks and various dental journals and lectures extensively both nationally and internationally while maintaining a private practice limited to periodontics and implantology in Foster City, California. Dr. Lamb is also the founder and owner of the Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy (IDEA) in Foster City, California.
