Dr. Duncan received his college and post-graduate studies at the University of Oklahoma culminating with a D.D.S. degree in 1995. Following Dental School, Dr. Duncan vigorously pursued continuing education to grow past what was taught in dental schools; twice being recognized as the leader in the State of Oklahoma for Continuing Education. He completed the surgical and prosthetic sections with the Misch Implant Institute earning a Fellowship with the Institute as well as holding Diplomate status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has also earned the Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry in the shortest time period allowed by the Academy. However, he considers his real advances in education to have started with his journey through the Las Vegas Institute.
He is a Fellow of the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), and started teaching with the institute in 2002. He has lectured on aesthetics, occlusion, CAD-CAM technology, and practice management internationally.
Dr. Duncan is the Clinical Director at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and is involved in teaching the Core 1-7 courses as well as a variety of non-Core programs at LVI. He has dedicated his efforts to advancing the understanding of the science that supports decisions made in dentistry. Through his exposure to Neuromuscular Dentistry and his involvement with LVI in the rapidly growing field, Dr. Duncan has been able to share the ever changing understanding of our profession with people from around the world. His hope is that he can help other dentists to experience the power and pleasure of being able to change the quality of their lives by practicing excellence in comprehensive dentistry.
