Lee Silverstein, DDS, MS, FACD, FICD, FICOI is an Associate Clinical Professor of Periodontics at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He has lectured both nationally and internationally on the topics of periodontics, dental implantology, bone grafting and suturing. Having had over 100 journal articles and 8 textbook chapters published, he has contributed extensively to the literature available on these topics.
Dr. Silverstein is privileged to be on the Editorial Board of Practical Periodontics and Aesthetic Dentistry, Dentistry Today, Inside Dentistry, Functional Esthetics and Restorative Dentistry, Collaborative Dental Techniques, and Academy of General Dentistry Scientific Magazine. Additionally, he has been granted Fellowships in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Silverstein is the author of the highly acclaimed textbook entitled “Principles of Dental Suturing: A Complete Guide to Surgical Closure.” and has just completed his new book entitled “Principles of Soft Tissue Surgery: A Complete Step-by-Step Procedural Guide” available in 2007. Dr. Silverstein maintains a private practice at Kennestone Periodontics in Marietta, Georgia.
