Harry Green, DDS

A seasoned orthodontist dedicated to teaching general dentists and pedodontists since 1978. Graduate of Northwestern University and the Ohio State College of Dentistry, Dr. Green served a preceptorship under Dr. Howard Peterson, a founder and first president of the Begg Society. Dr. Green has been in the full time practice of orthodontics for over 30 years.

During the 1980s, Dr. Green and the late Dr. Charles Yates co-lectured the successful extended courses for the American Orthodontic Society, of which Dr. Yates was a founder. Together, they taught hundreds of dentists and pedodontists how to integrate orthodontics into their practices. They taught courses in Dallas, TX; Pittsburgh, PA; Boston, MA; Kansas City, MO; and Philadelphia, PA, to name a few. Dr. Green has also taught and lectured to the International Association of Orthodontics, the International Association of Tip-Edge Study Groups, Gp Orthodontics, and various other local and national dental groups. Articles discussing the use of the Tip-Edge appliance were written for “Dentistry Today,” “The Farran Report,” and “Profitable Dentist” and may be viewed on this website by clicking “Relevant Articles” on the menu to the left.

Dr. Green is founder and president of Mid Continent Orthodontics, a continuing education organization dedicated to providing high quality orthodontic education to general dentists and pedodontists. Dr. Green’s 30+ years of successful practice is verified by thousands of completed cases and documented records – many of which are used in his lectures and hands-on courses. All of the cases were treated without the use of headgear, bite planes, or functional appliances. Dr. Green is committed to your orthodontic excellence.
