Dr. Frank Spear is one of the most influential speakers and educators in restorative and esthetic dentistry. Founder and director of Spear Education, his lectures, seminars and workshops have transformed how dentists approach dentistry today.
Driven by a passion to see each dentist master the knowledge, skills and techniques of advanced dentistry and patient-centric treatment plans, his work and contributions have been recognized by numerous associations and groups including:

Dr. Spear earned his dental degree in 1979, and an M.S.D. in periodontal prosthodontics in 1982, both from the University of Washington. He is an affiliate professor of the graduate prosthodontics program at the University of Washington. Dr. Spear’s memberships include the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, the American College of Prosthodontists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International College of Dentists. He is also the former president of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.
